CAPITA ACQUIRES LUXEMBOURG CORPORATE SERVICES PROVIDER
The Capita Group Plc (“Capita”) announced today that it has acquired the businesses of Fidei Fiduciaire S.à.r.l., and related group companies, collectively known as Fidei.
Based in Luxembourg for over 16 years and currently regulated by the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier, Fidei provides a whole range of corporate services for their clients’ locally based financial entities.
Fidei will change its name to Capita Fiduciary SA and will become part of Capita Fiduciary Group which provides fiduciary services to private, corporate and institutional clients worldwide from offices in Jersey, London, Ireland and the Netherlands.
This is the first acquisition Capita has made in Luxembourg. Commenting on the deal, Anthony O’Keeffe, Chief Executive Officer of Capita Fiduciary Group said: "This acquisition further strengthens Capita Fiduciary Group’s position in the international financial services industry, providing it with increased scale and enabling it to take on and service its ever increasing new business opportunities. Bruno Beernaerts and Alain Lam, the two senior partners at Fidei said "We are delighted that Capita has acquired our business. All 35 members of staff, including the two senior partners have transferred to Capita.
